| FREETiff: A Life of Timothy Findley, by Sherrill Grace, is the first full biography of one of Canada’s foremost writers. Findley was a charter member of the Stratford Shakespeare Festival and also an award-winning novelist, playwright, and short-story writer. He began his career as an actor in London, England, and was instrumental in the development of Canadian literature and publishing in the 1970s and 80s.
In partnership with Wilfrid Laurier University Press, please join us for this virtual book launch and a conversation between Sherrill Grace and Kel Pero to remember Timothy Findley and his importance to Canadian literature. You will learn about Grace’s fieldwork, the archival research that shaped her writing, and the issues that were important to Findley that remain relevant to this day.
